Scout Motorsport Tarmac Practice & Ride Day

 2nd  November 2019

Come out and experience Motorsport with a Scouting twist.
We are pleased to offer an opportunity for Scouting Youth and Adults alike to experience motorsport from from a different perspective.
Our team of experienced Scout motorsport drivers are offering the opportunity to experience motorsport from the passenger seat on our tarmac track with participants able to experience hot laps in race prepared and street cars on the day.
Even better we are offering the opportunity for you to get behind the wheel and experience the true rush of motorsport by driving as part of our practice day event.
This event is open to all members of Scouting from 12 years old
Minimum CAMS L2NS license required to drive 
Have a car, great, bring it along and enjoy
Don't Have a car, no problems, contact us to discuss hiring a car for the event

The event will be held at Adelaide International Raceway, Brown Road Virginia
Event participants are required to bring everything required to be self sufficient throughout the day as there will only be access to the toilets and restricted track locations. All food, beverage and garage facilities will remain closed throughout the event.

Further Information:

All entrants and ride day participants will need to wear non-flammable clothing that covers from neck to writs to ankle. This could be in the form of overalls, jeans and long sleeved cotton shirt or similar.


Entry is open to all participants aged 12 and over that are current financial members of Scout Motorsport Club SA (SMCSA). Non-Scouting participants can attain temporary SMCSA membership at a charge of $20 per person for the event

Driver entry $50

Ride day entry $10

Car hire fee by prior negotiation

Car requirements:

This event is run under CAMS and as such all vehicles will be required to present to and pass scrutineer prior to participating int eh event. It is a requirement that all entered vehicles are in good operational order with a complying fire extinguisher fitted.

Driver Requirements:

This event is operated as a CAMS non-speed event and as such the minimum license requirements to drive are L2NS/ LSNSJ license.

Licenses available on the day for Scouting members that have never held a CAMS License in the past (Additional Costs Apply)

Documents and forms:

All Participants will need to present at event admin on the day to register and complete appropriate forms (see below).

All youth must to have Scouting and CAMS forms signed by there parent or guardian (These forms cannot be signed by Scout Leader)

All participants should familarise themselves with the event Supplementary regulations and the club Operational regulations below.
